Team Kakashi

Team Kakashi or the Team 7, led by Kakashi Hatake, which was formed after Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura, became Genin. The team was specifically formed in order to balance out their talents: Naruto had performed exceptionally low and was the worst student in his graduating class was combined with Sasuke and Sakura so that he learns from Sakura’s intelligence and Sasuke’s proficiency with ninja skills. Sakura benefited from her teammates who were more capable in battle combats, whereas Sasuke benefited as he was forced to work with others.

After Sasuke went away from Konoha by the end of Part I, Team 7 disbanded for the next two and a half years. At the start of second part, the remaining members reformed as Team Kakashi with a mission of rescuing Gaara. Saia replacement of Sasuke was added to the team as permanent member after the completion of the mission. Yamato briefly led the team when Kakashi was in hospital after serious battle injuries. Soon Yamato became a permanent member as a leader and many of Team Kakashi’s subsequent missions were led by Yamato. Team Kakashi has had the best team coordination with Team 10. As the series progresses the identity of team is varied many times. Exam plea the team was integrated into an eight member team led by a recovered Kakashi.

Throughout Part II, Naruto and Sakura tried their best to retrieve Sasuke back to Konoha and restore their team’s happiness and more importantly the relationship the felt to be strong. However, Sasuke had his own mission and had lost the idea of returning during his training outside Konoha, and when he learned about the politics that lead to his clan’s destruction, his faith on Konoha as home was flushed out and he became antagonistic towards the village. Naruto and Sakura had to take action to stop Sasuke’s revenge plan at all cost, in order to prevent any potential wars.
